Pebble Hills student is finalist in Take Care of Texas contest, needs votes to help him win
Ray Lopez, an audio-video production student at Pebble Hills High School, was chosen as a finalist in the Take Care of Texas Video Contest for his creative video encouraging the community to protect the environment by recycling and conserving water and power.
Now, Lopez needs votes from supporters to help him win the judging round of the contest.
Out of hundreds of submissions from around the state, Lopez was selected as one of six finalists in the ninth through 12th grade category. The top three videos in each category will advance to the final round.
This is the second time in three years that a student from Pebble Hills High School has made it to this round with a top winner two years ago.
Voting is open until Friday, Jan. 29. Use the link below to vote.
