About Us

  • Loma Verde Elementary opened its doors to the community on December 2, 2002. The school has grades Kindergarten through 5th. We currently serve a population of approximately 750 students. Loma Verde was named in part for the street (Loma Verde) that intersects with Ted Houghton Street and in part for the fact that the school is built on a hill ("loma" in Spanish). The school is organized in seven clusters of classrooms that are identified by the names of the continents of the world.
