26-27 Reading Challenge

Dear Parents and Guardians,

This year, our library is excited to promote a love of reading at home through our Space Reading Challenge: Mission 25!

The goal of this challenge is for each scholar to read 25 books during each marking period, for a total of 100 books by the end of the school year. For scholars who are not yet independent readers, we encourage family members to read aloud to them. Simply record the book title on the reading log and sign to verify that the book was read.

At the end of each marking period, scholars or teachers should submit completed reading logs to the library. Scholars who meet the challenge will be recognized and rewarded with a special celebration.

Reading regularly helps build strong literacy skills, expands vocabulary, and fosters a lifelong love of learning. Thank you for partnering with us to support your child's reading journey and help us create confident, enthusiastic readers.

Happy Reading,

Your School Librarian
