National Voter Registration Day is Sept. 16 and the El Paso County Elections Department is joining partners across the country to assist every eligible citizen to register to vote ahead of the November 2025 Uniform and Special Election and the March 2026 Primary Election.

National Voter Registration Day is an opportunity for eligible citizens to register to vote. Across all 50 states, counties and organizations are working together to engage communities and help voters get registered. The El Paso County Elections Department will be at various locations on Sept. 16 to register eligible individuals to vote.

If you are not registered to vote, you can do so now through Oct. 6. Click here to obtain a Texas Voter Registration Application from the El Paso County Elections Department webpage. Additionally, students (who will be 18 by election day) and employees may register in person with school principals or with any of the following Socorro ISD employees:

• Angelica Hernandez in Technology Services

• Candace Printz in Fine Arts

• Shelley D. Chenausky in Child Nutrition Services
