The Socorro Independent School District will host its 14th Annual Father-Son Conference from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 13 at Eastlake High School. The goal of the conference is to help fathers and sons bond and explore topics such as college and career opportunities, self-defense, dangers of social media, and many other interesting sessions. All SISD boys in grades 6th through 12th and their fathers/father figures are invited to attend. The event is free to all participants. All participants are encouraged to donate non-perishable items to give to families in need.
