It was an incredible year of partnerships for #TeamSISD! Today, businesses and schools came together for the 2024 Partner in Education Recognition! Thank you to our awesome business community which strengthen, support, and even transform public education.
Hardworking employees in #TeamSISD took a well-deserved break to Destress from the Test at the DSC today. Organized by @SISD_HBSM & Aetna, employees enjoyed free yoga, massages, fitness classes, raffles, and more! Join us April 25 for more relaxing fun from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Pebble Hills High School welcomed Tournament of Roses' President Ed Morales and his wife Lisa Morales to El Paso. Join them at the school's spaghetti dinner fundraiser at 6:30 p.m. April 25 at Pebble Hills HS & help send the band to the Tournament of Roses Parade! Tickets: $12 at the door.

The Board of Trustees honored the Pebble Hills HS counseling program for their exceptional achievement of being named a Recognized ACSA Model Program (RAMP) by the American School Counselor Association. Congrats to these dedicated counselors for their well-deserved recognition!
Trustees honored the Eastlake HS varsity boys’ soccer team for their outstanding performance this season. They have won their fourth consecutive 6A district championship, which marks their 10th district championship in the last 12 years of varsity play. Well done, Falcons!
Trustees recognized the Pebble Hills HS varsity boys’ soccer team for winning the 6A bi-district, area, and regional quarterfinal championships. The team ended the season with an impressive overall record of 22-4 and a district record of 15-3. Congratulations, Spartans!
The Board of Trustees honored the Montwood High School varsity boys’ soccer team for winning the 6A bi-district and area championships. The team had a great season finishing with an overall record of 18-9-1. Congratulations, Rams!
Trustees honored the Eastlake High School varsity girls’ soccer team for winning the 1-6A district championship and 6A bi-district championship. The team's remarkable season concluded with an overall record of 18-7-1 and a district record of 14-2. Congratulations, Falcons!
The Board of Trustees honored several #TeamSISD Destination Imagination teams that showcased their technical skills, creativity, and talents at the DI Lone Star Finals last weekend in Arlington, Texas. Way to represent Socorro ISD!
The Board of Trustees recognized the El Dorado HS journalism team for winning the 2024 Gold Crown Award for their yearbook from the Columbia Scholastic Press Association, the highest recognition given by the CSPA for overall excellence in a student print or digital medium.
Congrats to the low brass ensemble from Pebble Hills HS for being selected to participate in the 2024 Texas Music Educators Assoc. convention in San Antonio. These Spartans were chosen among a very select group of musicians to showcase their talents at the annual conference.
Trustees recognized Delaney Gutierrez from Pebble Hills HS for being awarded a prestigious 2024 Dell Scholarship. This will assist her in pursuing her dream of a higher education at Texas State University, where she will study pre-dentistry. Congratulations!
Trustees recognized Alexandra Llanes from Americas HS for her incredible artwork featured in the 8th annual Natl Art Honor Society and Natl Junior Art Honor Society Juried Exhibition. Accepting on her behalf was teacher, Jerusha Lang Cholka.

Family and friends, along with students and teachers, gathered at Col. Ben Narbuth Elementary for the opening of its Little Free Library dedicated to Delilah Rodriguez, a student who passed away last year. The Little Free library allows the community to take a book for free or share a book.
Join us for the #TeamSISD Military Summer Splash on Saturday, May 4 at the SISD Aquatics Center. ☀️ Military families may register from April 15-26 with the QR code on the flier. Parents must bring their military ID and students must be enrolled in our #TeamSISD schools.
