Nutritious meals will be provided at participating schools starting June 8
The Socorro Independent School District’s Child Nutrition Services Department will offer free meals to all children ages 18 and under at 14 SISD campuses. Meals will be served at all the high school campuses (listed below), from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday, June 8 through June 26 and at all the elementary campuses (listed below), from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Thursday, June 8 through June 25.
The Summer Food Program provides nutritious, student favorite meals at no cost to all children at participating school sites. Student favorites are meals that many children enjoy, such as pizza, cheeseburgers and chicken tenders. Parents are encouraged to bring their children to enjoy the foods they love to eat for free. There are no fees or proof of income required. To participate, just show up. The summer menu will be available on the Child Nutrition Services web page on the district website www.sisd.net, click on district menus or call 915-937-0450.
