The Socorro Independent School District will have student and teacher early release day on Friday, Dec. 19, 2025. The early release schedule is:
Elementary & PK-8 schools 11:45 a.m.
Middle schools 12:05 p.m.
High schools 12:55 p.m.
Socorro Independent School District facilities and schools will be closed for the winter break from Monday, Dec. 22, 2025, through Friday, Jan. 2, 2026. Staff professional development will be Monday, Jan. 5 and Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2026. Classes for students will resume Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2026.
