For the third year in a row, the Montwood High School Robotics Team has proudly celebrated exceptional seniors who have received scholarships to attend top universities across the U.S. These talented individuals signed with their preferred schools on May 16, where they plan to continue their education in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).

Congratulations to these outstanding students from the Class of 2025.

Adrian Arredondo signed his letter of intent with UT Cockrell School of Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin, where he plans to study mechanical engineering. He has served as the team’s historian and was a member of First Tech Challenge Team 5470.

Manvith Chitti signed his letter of intent with Texas A&M University, where he plans to study aerospace engineering. He was a part of Team 5470 Rambotics, which advanced to the World Championship.

Benjamin Flores signed his letter of intent with UT Cockrell School of Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin, where he plans to study mechanical engineering. He has served as the team’s manager and treasurer.

Mark Fraire signed his letter of intent with Baylor University, where he plans to study mechanical engineering. He was the driver for team 5911 and a part of Rampage, which advanced to the World Championship in its first year.

Brandon Garcia signed his letter of intent with the University of Texas at El Paso, where he plans to study metallurgical engineering. He was the head programmer for Team 5911and was also a member of Team 5470 Rambotics, which advanced to the World Championship.

Jocelyn Jimenez signed her letter of intent with the University of Texas at El Paso, where she plans to study mechanical engineering. Jocelyn is the recipient of the UTEP Academic Scholarship. She was the proud leader of rookie team 5911 and will be the first woman in her family to major in a STEM degree.

Michael Levario signed his letter of intent with UT Cockrell School of Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin, where he plans to study aerospace engineering. He will be receiving $15,000 per semester from UT. He has been the lead CAD designer on multiple teams in the program.

Emilio Lopez signed his letter of intent with UT Cockrell School of Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin, where he plans to study mechanical engineering. He is the recipient of the Amigo Airsho Skybound Scholarship. Emilio was one of the original members of First Robotics Competition team, Rampage, and he participated in the World Championship-advancing team, Rambotics.

Joaquin Roman signed his letter of intent with Texas A&M University, where he plans to study aerospace engineering. He served as the vice-president of the robotics program. He was a driver for Team 5470 Rambotics and Rampage, which advanced to the World Championship.

Jose Sangrador signed his letter of intent with the University of Texas at El Paso, where he plans to study aerospace engineering. Jose served as the team’s Sergeant at Arms. Jose was responsible for many of the team’s safety awards.

Rodrigo Siqueiros signed his letter of intent with UT Cockrell School of Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin, where he plans to study mechanical engineering. He has been instrumental to multiple teams in the program, including the World Championship-advancing teams.

Evan Villalobos signed his letter of intent with the University of Texas at El Paso, where he plans to study aerospace engineering. He was head builder for Team 14913 Ram Jam.

Samantha Villarreal signed her letter of intent with Harvard University, where she plans to study mechanical engineering. She is a recipient of the Ryan Beard Memorial Scholarship and the University of Texas at Austin Impact Scholarship. For the past two years, she has served as the president of the Robotics Program, leading her First Tech Challenge and First Robotics Competition teams to the World Championship multiple times.
