Join us for Rams Summer Reading in Beanstack! Read and earn badges all Summer long! Access our Summer Reading Challenge through Clever, then click Beanstack to join the challenge. Complete the full challenge card and receive a frozen treat from your Library when we return for our 2024-2025 school year!


Friday, May 24th is our Montwood MS End of Year Dance for ALL grades 6-8. Students attending may wear free dress with school-appropriate JEANS and shirts. Tickets are $3.00 and will be sold tomorrow. Students purchasing tomorrow will receive a dress pass in the morning. Concessions will be available as well.

This is just a friendly reminder that teachers will be providing materials for students' lessons for tomorrow Friday, March 1st. Your child will not need to bring their backpack or laptop to school tomorrow. For Friday, March 1st only cell phones will be allowed but must be turned off and put away in their pocket. FRI-”STAY TRUE TO YOURSELF”-Wear your favorite T-shirt, show your unique style with your normal Friday jeans/uniform bottoms
All Students must be Dress Code compliant. Must have sleeves. NO tank tops, see through etc. NO inappropriate language and/or slogans. When in doubt ask or simply DON'T!

Cellphones for Soldiers
Donate your old cellphones to soldiers overseas.
MMS and MHS Student Council are joining together to collect old cell phones, iPads, tablets, MP3 players, and chargers for soldiers. Drop them off at the designated StuCo rooms to donate from Feb. 12-16.

SISD's Volunteer Sports Program will host orientation meetings for track and field starting Jan. 17. Visit https://www.sisd.net/vsp for meeting times and locations. VSP allows Pre-K to 6th grade students in #TeamSISD to have fun, get exercise & experience friendly competition.

Faculty/Staff Return January 2nd and will be in training on January 2nd-3rd.
For students interested in playing basketball, basketball tryouts for students begin Tuesday, January 2nd at 4:00pm.
All students return to the spring semester on Thursday, January 4th at 7:45am.

Dec. 11--Santa Claus is Coming to Town: Wear your favorite Santa hat. Must be in school uniform.
Dec. 12--Winter Wonderland: Wear your favorite Holiday beanie, ears, headband, etc. Must be in school uniform.
Dec. 13--Sweater Weather: Wear your favorite "ugly" sweater. Must be in uniform bottoms.
Dec. 14--Don't be a Grinch: Wear a Grinch t-shirt. Must be in uniform bottoms.
Dec. 15--Holiday Sparkle: Dress to Impress with a red/green shirt/blouse. Boots allowed. Must be in Friday uniform bottoms.
**All dress up days must be Dress Code compliant. This is not free dress. If you choose not to participate, you must be in school uniform to avoid dress code violations.
