SISD collage with different high school students

Socorro Independent School District high school students are gearing up for homecoming festivities this fall, including dress-up days, pep rallies, football games, and dances. Families and the community are invited to join in the celebrations. Read more below for details.

Pebble Hills High School will celebrate its homecoming week themed “Legends Come to Life” from Oct. 20 to 25. The homecoming parade will start at 5 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 23. The parade will be followed by the "Burning of the Spartan" and a fireworks display. The homecoming pep rally will take place during school hours on Oct. 24. The homecoming game will be at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 24 against Socorro High School at SAC I. The school's homecoming dance, “A Night in Ancient Greece,” will be at 8 p.m. Oct. 25 in the school’s cafeteria. Tickets for the dance can be purchased online at sisd.net/tickets or through the HomeTown Ticketing Fan App. Tickets are $35 through Oct. 11 and $40 the day of the dance. Students can donate 2 pairs of new socks to receive a $5 off code.

Dress up days are:

Oct. 20 – Muse Monday (Dress as favorite celebrity)

Oct. 21 – Olympics Fit (Sports Jerseys)

Oct. 22 – Elements Day (Fire - Red, Water - Blue, Air - White, Earth - Green/Brown, or Light - Yellow)

Oct. 23 – Dress in your parade outfits.

Oct. 24 – Spear-it day (Mums, garters, and school colors)
