Hello, this is Jennifer Marquez, principal of Robert R. Rojas Elementary School. I am calling to inform you that earlier today Emergency Medical Services came to our school for a student who needed medical attention. The student was assessed and transported to the hospital. Students continued their day as normal. Thank you for your continued trust and support of Rojas Elementary School and Team SISD. Hola, soy Jennifer Marquez, directora de la primaria Robert R. Rojas. Estoy llamando para informarles que los servicios médicos de emergencia llegaron a la escuela hoy para dar atención médica a un estudiante. El estudiante fue evaluado y transportado al hospital. I am calling to inform you that fire officials arrived at our school today due to a fire in a vacant field across from our school. SISD police and Socorro Fire Department assessed the situation and the campus has been deemed safe. Students are continuing their day on a normal schedule. There will be GED classes in April through the SISD Community Education department. Registration is April 29 from 9:30 am to 11:30 am, and April 30 from 4 pm to 6 pm.
