On Friday, April 26 we will be hosting our school dance hosted by 8th grade science. School Dance Schedule, modified bell schedule, please see attachment: 6th grade during 1st period (2nd to last period of the day); 7th & 8th grade combined during 3rd period (last period of the day); DJ for our school dance is Ms. Jaimie. Tickets are only $3 and concessions will be sold by our science team. Dance tickets will be sold during lunch by our parent volunteers beginning Wednesday, April 24, 2024. Students must have a school ID to purchase any tickets to school events. Students with a referral for this nine weeks & excessive absences (5 or more for any period) will not be approved to attend the event, each students behavior record clears every nine weeks. If a student needs to purchase a replacement ID, they may do so before or after school with Mrs. Edita Machin for only $5. Students are not allowed to bring backpacks or cell phones to the school dance.

As we get set to close off STAAR testing tomorrow with 8th grade science, I wanted to inform our Stallion families that tutoring has concluded for the year. The only students we will be working daily afterschool are students with a loss of credit contract. We ask that our Stallion scholars find a safe way home daily afterschool and please help us clear the building no later than 3:55 pm. Have a wonderful Tuesday!

Good afternoon Stallions, we are set to take our STAAR exam, which is scheduled for Tuesday, April 16th for RLA. We know our Stallions are ready to shine and we wanted to remind our families that all students must bring their laptops and chargers to campus. It is also important that our Stallions bring their laptop fully charged. We do have a list of students whose laptop is currently in repair. If your child is not on our list and fails to bring their laptop, they will be required to call home the day of testing for a parent or guardian to bring their device as we are limited on laptops and chargers.
