We would like to inform you that our Stallions in grades 6-8 will be traveling to Montwood High School for our annual STAAR pep assembly scheduled for Wednesday, April 1st, from 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM. This event is an exciting opportunity for all students, faculty, and staff to come together and show their school spirit.

Transportation will be provided by school bus to the Montwood High School Tony Harper gymnasium. Please note that there will be an alternate bell schedule for our campus, and students will have lunch at an earlier time. All students must be accompanied by their 6th-period teacher during this event.

Students and faculty are approved to wear jeans with a school shirt. We plan to depart for Montwood between 12:30 PM and 1:00 PM and expect to return to campus between 2:15 PM and 2:45 PM.

All students have received a permission slip to attend this school-wide event. We kindly ask that you assist your child in completing this form and returning it to their 6th-period teacher as soon as possible.

This event is a wonderful opportunity to visit classrooms, meet teachers, learn about your child’s academic progress, and become familiar with upcoming spring activities and expectations. The first day of track and field practice is scheduled for tomorrow for all cleared athletes, and practice will run from 3:40-5:15pm.

All students must have a current physical on file and Rank One completed and approved in order to participate.

Extended Learning Camps and Homework lab will resume tomorrow to assist any student with preparing for their upcoming STAAR assessments. Attached is the MP4 Extended Learning Camps flier.

Slider Cheer Tryouts are around the corner for the 2026-2027 school year. There will be a mandatory parent meeting on Monday, April 6th at 6 PM inside the cafeteria. Our cheer clinic is scheduled for April 7th to April 9th from 4 PM to 6 PM and tryouts will be on Friday, April 10th from 4 PM to 730 PM. The Slider Stallions are hosting their level up spring intersession camp and your child is invited to come join us. We kick off our level up camp on Monday, March 9th at 7:45 am. Our level up camp will be four days and will close on Thursday, March 12th at 12PM. Our camp is designed to assist our scholars master their upcoming STAAR/EOC assessments. To encourage participate on Monday we will have pajama day, Tuesday character select day, Wednesday is retro gamer day and Thursday is level up day. Would your child like free dress for April 2026? Any student whose online registration is completed will receive their free dress pass for April 2026. Below are the details, thank you to all families who have completed their portion. On day 5 of online registration, Slider is at 25% completion. Stallion community, online registration is now open for the 2026-2027 school year. You may complete your online registration at https://www.sisd.net/o/sisd/page/student-enrollment We would like all families registered as soon as possible. If you encounter online issues you may email tech support at onlinereg@sisd.net (include your child's name & school). For campus registration assistance you may contact our PEIMS specialist at 915-937-5400 and ask to speak with Mrs. Guzman or Mrs. Garcia.

Greetings Stallion Community, we have a few updates from Stallion Country:

- For Friday, March 6, 2026, students will report to all 8 classes. School is a full day, not a half day and students will be released at 3:30 pm, buses will depart the campus at 3:38 pm. Backpacks will not be allowed on campus. We will have an alternate bell schedule, please see attachment. Our annual students vs. faculty basketball game will tip off inside the gymnasium at 2:30 pm. Tickets are only $3.00 and can be purchased at lunch with our parent volunteers and concessions will be sold by student council.

- Inviting all 6th, 7th and 8th grade Stallion scholars. Stallion Country will be hosting its Level Up March Intersession camp from Monday, March 9th to Thursday, March 12th. Camp times will be from 8am to 12pm, we are asking that all students arrive to campus by 7:45 am. Bus transportation will be available. If you have any questions, please contact us at 915-937-5400.

- Needhos and/or squishies are not permitted on campus. These items pose safety risks to our students and faculty, these items must remain at home.

- Online registration is now open. Students who complete their registration prior to April 2026, will receive a free dress pass for the month of April. If you need assistance, please contact us at 915-937-5400.

Good evening Stallions, our annual students vs faculty basketball game will be hosted on Friday, March 6, 2026. Tickets will be on sale beginning Wednesday for only $3.00. Concessions will be sold by student council. Have a wonderful evening.
