Trustees honored the Eastlake HS varsity boys’ soccer team for their outstanding performance this season. They have won their fourth consecutive 6A district championship, which marks their 10th district championship in the last 12 years of varsity play. Well done, Falcons!
Trustees recognized the Pebble Hills HS varsity boys’ soccer team for winning the 6A bi-district, area, and regional quarterfinal championships. The team ended the season with an impressive overall record of 22-4 and a district record of 15-3. Congratulations, Spartans!

The Board of Trustees honored several #TeamSISD Destination Imagination teams that showcased their technical skills, creativity, and talents at the DI Lone Star Finals last weekend in Arlington, Texas. Way to represent Socorro ISD!
The Board of Trustees recognized the El Dorado HS journalism team for winning the 2024 Gold Crown Award for their yearbook from the Columbia Scholastic Press Association, the highest recognition given by the CSPA for overall excellence in a student print or digital medium.
Congrats to the low brass ensemble from Pebble Hills HS for being selected to participate in the 2024 Texas Music Educators Assoc. convention in San Antonio. These Spartans were chosen among a very select group of musicians to showcase their talents at the annual conference.
Trustees recognized Delaney Gutierrez from Pebble Hills HS for being awarded a prestigious 2024 Dell Scholarship. This will assist her in pursuing her dream of a higher education at Texas State University, where she will study pre-dentistry. Congratulations!

Family and friends, along with students and teachers, gathered at Col. Ben Narbuth Elementary for the opening of its Little Free Library dedicated to Delilah Rodriguez, a student who passed away last year. The Little Free library allows the community to take a book for free or share a book.
