#TeamSISD students had a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to visit with best-selling author Neal Shusterman on Wednesday. Shusterman visited El Dorado and Eastlake high schools to talk about his books and writing process and inspire students to believe in themselves.





Today, El Dorado HS celebrated being named an AVID National Demonstration School for a third time! El Dorado is the only Region 19 high school to have earned this distinction for being an exemplary model for college and career readiness. Congratulations on this milestone!

It was a Masterpiece at ROBOCOM X with elementary/middle school students showcasing their talent with technology & art. Great event with awesome support from high school students, teachers, staff, & parents. Another big win with STEAM, collaboration and competition in #TeamSISD!





Approximately 25 teams from ROBOCOM X will advance to the regional competition organized by UTEP on Jan. 27. The teams then will have the opportunity to be invited to different invitationals across the country and/or advance to the state competition.





More than 40 teams are competing at ROBOCOM X today at Pebble Hills High School. The annual #TeamSISD contest features dozens of talented students showcasing their STEAM skills as they use technology and creativity to take on the robotics challenge.
