The Board of Trustees recognized the 2025 TMEA All-State musicians, an honor given to the top 2% of student musicians in Texas. These talented #TeamSISD students performed with the best in the state at the TMEA convention in San Antonio. Congrats to these talented musicians!

The Board of Trustees honored six #TeamSISD students who earned top awards in the 2025 Black History Month Art Contest, sponsored by the Theta Delta Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. Trustees recognized the Pebble Hills High School marching band that has excelled in representing #TeamSISD on regional, national, and international stages. Pebble Hills High School's marching band made history in 2024 as the only Area A and El Paso band to compete at the State Open Class Marching Band Contest in San Antonio and perform at the prestigious Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena, California. Well done, Spartans!
